When Milton Glaser said, "There are three responses to a piece of design – yes, no, and WOW! Wow is the one to aim for," he articulated my design philosophy perfectly. I'm constantly in pursuit of that "wow" moment—that perfect intersection of functionality and delight.
Away from my screen, you'll find me with a sketchbook in hand. Drawing, painting, and sketching aren't just my escape—they're where my ideas begin to take shape, where the digital world I create during the day connects back to the tactile one I explore through brushes, pencils, and paper. These artistic practices nurture my design thinking, creating a continuous flow between my UX work and traditional artistic expression.
I also organize the UX & Product Meet-up in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, bringing together professionals passionate about technology, user experience, and product design. This community initiative allows me to connect with like-minded individuals, facilitate knowledge sharing, and contribute to the growth of our local design community.
My UX journey began with an internship at a startup that quickly evolved into a full-time position where I spent a year honing my foundational skills.
Seeking new challenges, I transitioned to the medical sector, designing comprehensive digital experiences including websites and cross-platform applications that required meticulous attention to user needs and accessibility.
I then expanded my expertise in e-commerce, developing digital solutions for publishers and bookshops where I created experiences that honored the tradition of books while embracing the possibilities of online retail.
Currently, at Banca Transilvania, Romania's largest bank, I lead design for the Bancassurance application. I built and maintain an Atomic Design System, collaborate with developers on micro-frontend implementation, conduct user research, and perform usability testing. My work includes creating onboarding procedures, establishing QA processes, and ensuring all designs balance technical feasibility, business needs, and user experience.
